Experience
Bicultural and bilingual, with a degree in Linguistics and English-Japanese-Spanish translation from Universidad de Santiago de Chile, and more than 15 years of experience in the translation and interpretation business. After graduating, I started working as a project manager for a multinational translation company where I acquired global knowledge in the translation industry. Three years later, I decided to start working as a freelance translator and interpreter.
This experience allows me to manage projects and provide translation and interpretation services in a holistic yet personalized way. Being a bicultural, bilingual professional (Chile and USA) is an advantage in the area, since it allows me to provide services with the proper tone, inflection and understanding in both languages.
My areas of specialization are marketing, IT, mining, technical translation, and international affairs.
